Harry Potter, and how I'm so stupid

This is just going to be a quick blog this evening.
At about 10pm this evening my brother and me checked our local cinemas to see what times Harry Potter would be playing over the next few days. Whilst doing this we found out that there's going to be a showing at 00.01 tonight at the Vue cinema outside of York.

From where I live the cinema is about an hours drive away, and at this time of night the only way of getting there is by taxi, which we found out would cost £96 there and back. Now I can afford that, but if we went, people would think I was crazy to pay that much, plus cinema prices, just to see a film. However it really would honestly make my year, to be able to see the first showing of the film, and also in 3D! Know I won't be able to though.

The only thoughts on my mind at the moment, is just, why didn't we check the times a few days ago, so that we could properly have figured times out?? And also, why isn't my local cinema, that's 15 minutes walk away that we can access at anytime, not doing a night time showing??

I'm sorry for this little rant/chat/talk just wanted to write down how I'm feeling. Know I'm being silly, and it is only a film, and I can watch it anytime, I just feel because it is the last film, and this series does mean a lot to me, I should do something extra, different to commemorate it.

Will still be an awesome, amazing last film though, wherever and whenever I get to see it. Just at this moment, sat here lying awake, feel quite sad, to know that soon it'll all be over.
If you've read down this far, thankyou. I'm sorry for this random blog. Goodnight.

Summer time :)

I've been putting this blog off for a few weeks now, but summer, I think has now finally arrived.

The reason why I've been putting off writing this, is because back at the end of April we had a week or so of boiling hot summer weather, and during that time everyone was having BBQ's and walking round in shorts and people were saying its Summer. However since then we've had over a month, of the weather changing from hot days, to cold days, to mildly warm days, to days of hugh thunder storms, and its confusing everyone.
Another reason why I didn't want to write this back then, was because it was April. I'm not sure what time of the year people class as summer, but April for me was still way too early, kids still had ages to go before breaking up, no one had holidays during that time, it just didn't feel right.

Some people have been saying that its all down to Global warming, and that winter and summer are now coming earlier, but who really knows.

I'll just say quickly, if someone asked me which I liked best, out of Summer and Winter, I'd say Winter definatly. Everyone has a favourite, one they like better and for me winters it. I do still like the summer though, especially the days out, longer days and ice creams, etc... But I can't stand the heat. As I always say, "You can always put more clothes on, but you can't always take more clothes off".

It's now July, and although it is technically summer time, I'm still waiting for that day, I'm sure everyone has it, where you wake up, look out the window and know its a going to be proper fun summer day. Do you know that day I mean?

Anyways, I think I'll wrap this blog up now, however I thought I'd point out that in true british fashion, when I began to write this, it was sunny outside, and now ending it, its cold and windy.

Harry Potter finale preparation

Its now less then 7 days before the last Harry Potter film is released into cinemas in the UK, and the public flock in the hundreds of thousands, even millions to see how it all ends.
Whyyy?? Why does it have to end? Its been 10 amazing years since the first film was released, and now the last film is only 5 days away! Where has all the time gone?
I'm not really quite sure what to say in this blog, I just felt that it being soo close now til the last film, I should write something. I know that to a lot of people right now, I am sounding very nerdy, but who cares, I'll say here and now I love all things Potter related.
The Harry Potter books were the first series of books that I ever read as a kid, and I enjoy them soo much that I continually go back to re-read them over and over again. If you ever have the chance to read them, please take the opportunity too. When reading them, you get to be able to picture and imagine a world that is amazing and makes you want to be a part of it. Who wouldn't want to live in a place where magic exists!
Since discovering the world of Harry Potter myself, I've been hooked, I've looked forward to each new book, each new film, each new game, and anything else related to that world.
In preparation for the last film coming out on the 15th, I decided to watch the three and a half hour long red carpet premiere, that happened in london on the 7th. During this you got to see all the different members of the cast and watch interviews happening their on the carpet, as well as see clips from the new film that weren't included in the trailers. I've also over the last couple of days, been re-watching the previous films. Furthermore, from tomorrow I'm also going to again read the last book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, so I can be even more up to date and refresh my memory about all the details and events that occur in the book.
The end of this week will be very strange, and also very tough, to see this awesome phenomenon that has expanded over a decade and inspired soo many people, finally end. However, although this is the last of the films, and the story will finally be complete, I will continue to re-watch and re-read, and in doing so, bring this world that I have seen and created in my thoughts, back to life.
