Its been about two and a half months or so now since I left scarborough, and about a week less then that since my family moved away from there down south to Letchworth.
Recently we decided that today we would rent a car and drive back up to scarborough, so we could see family, and each of us could see various friends, etc...
Although I thought this would be a little bit weird, because it feels like such a long time since leaving, I was really looking forward to seeing the people up there again.
Up until this morning, everything was going to plan, we were going to meet up in Stevenage, get the car and get out on the road, but then a slight problem emerged...snow.
I have lived my whole life in England, twenty one years now, you'd think I'd have gotten used to the unpredictable, changeable, weird weather, but noo. Somehow within several hours this morning, everywhere between Letchworth and Scarborough suddenly went from slightly cold and sunny, to completely covered in snow. Needless to say that because of this we had very little choice but to cancel our trip up north.
Not sure now when the next time will be when we all go back up, hopefully not too long. Where did all of this snow come from though, honestly, swear it was like barbeque weather just the other day.
