This last week has been the most hectic, confusing, draining, most unnerving week of the year so far, and it was all down to having my two end of year exams. With hindsight, I didn't really need to be half as anxious and worried as I was for these exams. Perhaps I should have started my revision a little bit earlier, but you know, hindsight is a wonderful thing. I won't talk too much about my exams or university in this blog, mainly because that's all I've been thinking about recently and I've gotten a bit sick of talking about school work. Saying that I think we'll quickly move on to the fact that I've half moved out of my first real flat.
I say half moved out because so far I've brought back a full bags full of my belongings but I;m going to leave the rest of my stuff there till July when we get the new house and I can just move everything from the flat to the house all in one go in one day rather then having to bring everything back home to have to take it back down again at a later date. I know moving is a bit of a pain, however I haven't as of yet found out why people say it is one of the most stressful things you can do in life, guess that's just something I get to look forward to in the future. Think it'll be quite odd moving back home again for the next few months after having gotten used to being in a new city and living somewhere else. What'll be even more odd will be the fact that in a few months I will be moving again and will have to get used to somewhere new all over again. Really looking forward to getting to the new house though.
Having only just gotten back yesterday I don't as of yet have many things planned for the summer, partly because a lot of people I know are still at university and so haven't really thought about meeting up or doing things just yet. There are some things that I have been thinking about doing over the summer though, however they're more like goals to achieve then plans. Firstly is something I'm been meaning to do for a while and have just planned to do once I got back home and that's to start running again and basically just get a bit fitter in general. The main reason I thought I'd leave this till I got home was because A) we have a treadmill at home, for when the weather is rubbish allowing me to still go running, and B) because its not a city full of busy streets and massive buildings. I've always felt a bit self-conscious running round where its really busy and enjoy having the larger green areas and public tracks to run on.
My second goal that I thought about recently is to learn how to properly touch type. When I was in junior school I did begin to learn hoe to type properly in ICT, however it was during that time that we moved up north and so never got very far into it. Ever since then I've just been typing the way I've naturally picked up how to do it, and although I'm not the slowest typer. I can't touch type.
The last thing I want to do this summer which is a combination of plan and goal, is to hopefully buy myself a violin and find somewhere to get some lessons. This is something I've been wanting to do for years now and I've mentioned about in previous blogs saying that I'd attempt to get round to it soon, so if possible, it'll happen this summer.
One last plan that I do actually have today, is to meet up with my friend Matty, then to go and see The Avengers. If you haven't seen this film yet, why not?? It is packed full of amazing superheroes, evil alien villains, and the Hulk, what more could you ask for. Go and see it if you haven't, out of all of the remakes and new superhero films that have come out lately, this by far beats them all, a definite must see. Saying that I'm going to go play a bit more Minecraft with my little sister and then I should probably go and get ready. As I am now free, I'll hopefully get the time to type out a few more blogs out. If all goes well with the touch typing I may even get a few more typed out on top of those.
