Getting back into shape

There are two times of the year when people feel the added pressure to get back down to the gym, get the weights out of the loft, get those rarely used trainers out of the cupboard, and to buy in the more healthier food in order to get back into shape. Those times are obviously New Years with people making their new years resolutions and during the lead up to summer, to look and feel better during the few sunny months of the year.

Although my reasons are slightly different to the people doing it to get fit in order to get their 'beach bodies' or for just looking good out in the sun, I've decided to get back in the habit of going jogging, doing more exercise and generally eating healthier foods.

The problem I usually have with committing myself to this healthier fitness lifestyle change, is one that a lot of other people seem to share. That problem being that your all for going jogging for the first few days or the first week or two, but then there comes a day when its storming outside so you decide to skip that days run. Several days later another thing pops up and you skip another days jog, and then you miss another one a few days later and eventually you kind of lose interest.
When you look at the number of people who make New Years resolutions to get fit compared to how many are still doing it come february, this problem becomes quite clear.

Oddly enough for me the eating more healthier part of this process actually feels easier then keeping up the exercise routine this time around. This is partly due to the discovery of a yoghurt type granola breakfast thing called Raspberry Rumblers, which I would recommend to anyone to try. Plus also if you work at Rumblers and are reading this, I'd be happy to voice this recommendation more loudly and frequently, if you wanted to send over a couple dozen 'free testers'.
Hopefully this time I'll stick with it and work it into a daily routine so that it feels more normal rather than something your scheduling in each day making yourself do.
