Trouble sleeping...

I have always been a night person. When I was young I would find myself still awake in the early hours of the morning watching the most random programmes on channels like TNT if anyone can remember that. Even when I had to get up at seven for secondary school having only had about four or five hours sleep, I was always able to function through the tiredness with no problem.

Recently however I've been having a problem actually trying to get to sleep, finding the only way I could actually get to sleep is to just stay up, keep myself busy and wait until I nod off. I don't particularly think there is anything behind this apart from a messed up sleeping pattern and slightly off lifestyle at the moment, but it is a bit of an annoyance.

I also didn't release until recently how many different illnesses/conditions can cause sleeping problems or have them as symptoms. This was all information I read on the internet early in the morning so it could all be lies, or stuff that I imagined in a sleepy haze.

This time has atleast given me the opportunity to catch up on movies that I've been meaning to watch, to marathon through some tv shows and get on with some reading. It is also as I am finding an alright time to do some blogging. However similarly to the early morning medical research I'm sure when I read this back in the morning it wont sound as well put or make as much sense.

With this being said I should probably end this here and get back to trying to get to sleep, as my last piece of coursework still needs to be finished off before my deadline next week. Wish me luck.
