This will probably be a short blog again today, quite a lot of things going on at the moment, what with christmas fast approaching, the end of the world happening the other day, and packing up the house.
Today I wanted to talk about buying christmas presents, or any type of presents really. Every year I seem to have the same problem with buying gifts and that is I can never think of anything to buy, resulting in me asking the recipient what they would like and then buying them these things.
The reason I find this kind of annoying is because years ago, I remember my brother and sisters and parents all being able to go out with less money we have now and come back with loads of imaginative gifts, things we liked but never even thought to ask for, but now everything seems to be slightly more...predictable.
I know christmas isn't all about presents and I've definitely come to notice that more, especially due to the majority of my family living apart now, but who doesn't like getting some presents.
This problem has been especially annoying this year as I kind of left all of my xmas shopping pretty late, only getting the first present less than a week ago. This meaning that I've had to join the large amount of other people doing their late shopping, in the very busy shops.
Are there any tips on finding unique gifts for people, for future birthday/christmas's? Luckily once christmas is out the way I have about a month and a half before the next family members birthday comes along so shall give me some time to think.
