Holiday! And traveling in general

Recently my brother, sister, mother and me were able to get some money together to get some flights to go abroad for holiday this year. When we first moved up to scarborough many years ago, some friends of ours where we used to live, moved at the same time out to Munich in Germany. Since christmas just gone they're been inviting us to go over and stay with them, so we could all see each other again and spend a holiday together. Seeming as we haven't been on holiday in years we thought we'd take them up on their offer and fly over in august.

I'm really looking forward to this holiday for loads of reasons, of course mainly because I'll get to see my friend Matthew again, and all his family, but also because of little things, like the fact that I haven't been on holiday abroad for ages. and that ill just get the chance to have a break and get away from things.

Ever since I was young the only place that my family and I went to for summer holidays was to France, and although I did once for a school trip go to Berlin, it will be really nice to go somewhere new, and explore and see more the world. Something which hopefully I'll have more opportunity to do in the future. I've always wanted to go to loads of different places around the world, primarily Cairo, Rome, Venice and Athens.

I think from now on, I'm going to make it one of my goals, to travel to and visit all these places, and any other cities, or landmarks I think of in years to come. Just imagine when your getting old and looking back on your life and what you've done. Wouldn't it be brilliant to say that you've been to all these places round the world, explored locations others usually don't go, can't wait. Carpe Diem.
