The end of the beginning

Okay, so my last blog was a little over the top, I see that now, and with hindsight this week wasn't as bad as I'd thought that very first night. As I stated last week however I want this blog to be 'pure' in a way, don't know if that's the best way to describe it. I want to be able to write what I want, how I feel, and even if I feel weird about it afterwards, have the courage to keep it up and not feel embarrassed that its there.

There were a few problems this week namely that I'm still not registered on my course, and so my money hasn't yet come through from student finance, so I can't by anymore food, but that's really the worst thing. Moving on from the negatives though, one of the best finds this week was that I discovered an e-sports pub not too far from kings cross, which I urgently want to go and make a visit too. I don't care if I sound geeky there, its cool, don't knock it.

Talking about geeky things, I talked about this last year, and that is the Eurogamer Expo. Hopefully if my timetable pans out come thursday at 11 I'll be in Earls Court enjoying all of the upcoming games, surrounded by other geeks and gamers, what better way to spend a thursday.

On a more interesting note, I'm currently standing in Romford Greyhound Stadium, having made 7 bets so far, each betting a pound and every time I've lost, mostly by one or two places. If I've learnt anything tonight, its that there is no system, or methods to this, your either cheating, have insider knowledge, or your lucky. How do people do this seriously, or even god forbid, for a living, I'd be completely poor if I did this every week. Wish me luck on these next few races, if I can just win one or two I'd leave happy.
