I mentioned in last weeks blog the events that occurred which lead to me now having a new phone, and now that its a week later and I've had time to look it over and get used to it, I thought i'd note down my thoughts about it.
Having looked at the title I'm sure you can already guess where I'm going with this little review, honestly what can I say though, I've seen videos and photos of what this phone could do, I've heard about all of the features, but being able to get my hands on it and play around with it, it's a hundred yes better than I expected.
Part of this I will be truthful and put down to the fact that I have been running around with outdated mobile tech for a while now and so any improvement is a big positive.
Another reason similar to this why this phone is so amazing is because I now have access to and use apps. For me the main downfall of my Blackberry, although great in many other ways, was that there were very few decent apps in their store, and so as a result got used to not using any. Having this phone opened up my eyes with regards to this, there aren't just decent apps for the normal everyday things, its the fact that there literally is an app for everything.
Its very strange reading this back as I know in my head that I knew all of this was possible, I've known for ages that there were all of these apps and widgets and wallpapers and stuff out there available to people, its another thing entirely though when they become available to you and you can use them yourself, I feel very lucky in this respect.
Compared to other phones this one in particular seems to suite me very well, firstly because of the size, its bigger then my blackberry bit not massive like other ones available at the moment. Secondly its very Google specific, and being a person who loves anything Google related its perfect, furthermore I've heard that their phones often get the android updates a little bit earlier then other android users.
The only downside to this phone at the moment seems to be the battery life and that I do need to charge it up a lot more often then my old phone. I have this evening however changed a number of my settings which so far has greatly improved my battery life. I also this evening came across another reason as to why it may not be charging as well and that's because I may not have the wrong phone adapter as its not outputting as many amps as its specifies the correct one should.
Summing everything up that I know and have learnt about this phone, I feel that i have definitely made a great choice and will be happy to have this phone for the next however many years until I am forced once again to seek out a new one.
