Favourite Music: 2013

For the past few years now towards the end of the year, I have been writing up these favourites lists, encompassing either my favourite things in that category over the past year or summing up my favourites of all time along with any that might have made the list from this year.

I've decided to do these again this year, not only because they have become part of a Christmas type annual thing that I've done for several years now, but because they are something of a record, kept here on the internet documenting any changes in interests and about myself. It also doesn't hurt to do them so that if anyone ever asks you what your favourite book of song is, you can have it at hand quite easily.

As the title to this blog states this list will be of my favourite songs of all time. In the past this has been one of the harder lists to create, mainly due to the fact that I have quite a few amazing songs and so have to somehow cut them down to just fifteen. Its also quite difficult as some seem to beat out others depending on the kind of mood your in. With that in mind, these fifteen songs  have been chosen with their longevity in mind. Meaning that in five, ten or even twenty years I should be able to come back to them and feel the same way about them as I do now.

A slight variation on last years list, this year I have been strict with myself and listed them in order of most favourite to not quite the most favourite, one being most. Out of all of my songs these have made the cut so it goes with out saying even number fifteen is still a brilliant song.

As always I may have missed one or two off, there were loads of tracks to go through, and I may have accidentally overlooked one. Saying this however even if I have, I'm happy with the list as it is.
