Looking forward

I've mentioned this a couple of times before, but I wanted to expand on it a little further, and that is the ending of university and the beginning of working life.

With this day very quickly approaching its been causing me to seriously think at length about what I want to do, where I want work, where I want to live... Many things that from a long way off don't seem that big am issue or seem to stressful to figure out. Up until this point my go to process of thinking has been to spend a few minutes of deep concentration on the matter and then say to myself, I'll worry about this tomorrow. As I said though there are very few tomorrows left.

This is something that everyone will go through at one point or another, and even with all the the information and advice out on the internet and in universities etc...it still doesn't seem to do that much in the way of preparing you for all of these choices and decisions.

What's worse about this period of decision making however, is that whilst in education your feed a sort of timeline of the way things are meant to play out; you go to primary school, them secondary, then do your GCSE's, then your A-levels, then you go to university, and often it will end with the vague phrase, 'then you go out and use all of that to get yourself a good job'.

Throughout our childhoods and young adulthood were are lead with this series of events, and even though getting a job is on that timeline, along with other major events such as getting married, there is no guidelines or rules for these things.

I am now taking things a bit more seriously And giving this subject a lot more thought, but I guess only time will tell how things play out. Hopefully things will all turn out pretty well in the end and you never know i may even pick up a few tips and tricks along the way to pass along to others who are in the same place as I find myself now.
