Quotes from places...

I've had these in my head for quite a while now, and that's kind of where they have stayed. I've been meaning to write them down mainly through fear of forgetting some of them or messing up the wording. Plus its just nice to have them in a little collection together. Hopefully in the future I'll come back here and edit this post adding more as I find them.

As always when people like certain quotes, some may have certain meanings and reasons behind them specific to that person, and others may just be really good quotes.

“Maybe our favorite quotations say more about us than about the stories and people we're quoting.”
 - John Green

“Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”
 - Albus Dumbledore

"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
 - Ferris Bueller

Annie: In the end she gave up.
Chris: There's nothing wrong with that.
Annie: Her husband didn't think so.
Chris: He was a coward! Being strong, not giving up, it was just his place to hide. He pushed away the pain so hard he disconnected himself from the person he loved most. [pause] Sometimes when you win, you lose.
 - What Dreams May Come

“My thoughts are stars I cannot fathom into constellations.”
 - John Green, The Fault in Our Stars

"I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, and then all at once.”
  - John Green, The Fault in Our Stars

“Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”
 - Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

Mad Hatter: “Why is a raven like a writing-desk?” “Have you guessed the riddle yet?”
Alice: “No, I give it up...What’s the answer?”
Hatter: “I haven’t the slightest idea”
 - Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

“You used to be much more..."muchier." You've lost your muchness.”
 - Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland
