Unpacking my life

Another over the top title this week it seems, couldn't really think of another way to phrase it.

What I am trying to adequately summarise in this title is how over the last two fays I have packed up everything I own from my flat into what ended up being far more boxes them I predicted, packed all of these boxes into a car, drove them back to my families home, unloaded them and for the most part unpacked them all.

The hardest thing about all of this process wasn't the constant nagging thought that I've forgotten something but was moving from my own reasonably sized en-suite bedroom to a make shift type bedroom with little storage space or floor space. The reason this was difficult was basically because I have too much stuff to fit in this room so I have been having to choice out of everything what has priority in the new room and what can be stored away in the attic.

As with any type of move it has been quite stressful, as I have just depicted within that example but it has also been nice to have a new space which you can do stuff with and move things around and make into your own space.

I haven't unfortunately managed to unpack all of the bags and boxes just yet or totally decide what will be going into the attic but I have managed to get the essentials all sorted. Hopefully in a few days I'll have everything sorted or as close to as I can for the moment. At least with things put away and pictures up etc...its feeling more like my own room, which was something I had worried about with regards to the whole moving back home into the back room situation.

Now I'm back home and university is all done with I guess the next big thing will be to start the daunting task of searching for a new job. Perhaps I might take just a few days off before that though, just to recuperate a bit and as a little treat to myself for finishing university and all my work.
