Looking for a new job

As most people will know, students traditionally don't have much money to their names and often pay things like value food in supermarkets in order to save money. Although I'd say I'm quite good when it comes to money and keeping a check on it, its always nice to have a bit more coming in each month.

The easiest way to get this extra bit of money is getting a new job. So far I've sent off about half a dozen or so applications and I've currently got one that I'm waiting to hear back from, which I'm really hoping I get.

The main problem with getting a job during university is fitting it in around your lectures and seminars. If you get an evening job this usually isn't to much of a problem, however for jobs like call centres, shops, daytime jobs... You have to find a job with shifts that fit into your schedule.
As I said I applied for a job the other day suited towards students and as an added bonus is also in the gaming/technology industry. Hopefully even though the closing date isn't for a little while, I'll hear something good back from them.

Having already heard from several people that christmas is fast approaching, getting a few hours paid work will definitely help in paying for christmas this year. If anyone is in sheffield, and either needs a new member of staff or currently knows of a few hours going somewhere, please drop a comment, thanks.
