As I mentioned in last weeks post, last weekend kicked off the beginning of our families summer holiday week, where instead of going away on a holiday/trip we came up with a variety of things to do in the local area.
Along with the various ideas we came up with to do this week, we were also invited to attend my uncles wedding which we went to on Thursday.
With the holiday week now at an end, I can honestly say that my feet have never felt so tired and I think I'll be having a few early nights over the coming days to catch up on some sleep and recuperate.
This week has been a really fun week, even with all of the walking and hot weather. In the end we managed to go all around London doing that A to Z route thing, we had a nice early morning at Top Golf, we did a murder scavenger hunt around a small village, went bowling and played a few rounds, went swimming, had a not so prosperous evening at the Harlow greyhound racing, and then lastly we went to the wedding.
Weddings are still a new experience to me, with this wedding being the second one that I have ever been too. Still trying to pick up the order of how things are meant to play out, and the roles of the people involved in the wedding party. As much as I have picked up from watching TV programmes and films, real life weddings are entirely what I expected them to be.
This week has been a really fun week, despite the amount of walking and the hot weather. However as much as I have enjoyed this week, the unfortunate news that I just missed out on the gaming studio job, that I went to an interview for last week, means that I will have to go back and start sifting through all of the job sites and start writing out applications again. Back to work it is then next week, wish me luck on getting another interview.
