The run up to EGX/Eurogamer

There is now less than a week before this years Eurogamer, my third consecutive Eurogamer, and the run up this year has been quite different from the other two, thanks once again to my work with Culturefly.co.uk.
Whereas for the previous two years all I would have to do is just wait, and then turn up on the day and play games, this year I have been receiving press releases about the games and companies going to the event. Through these releases I have also been able to arrange several interviews with game days, and manage to secure an invite to a small press only event happening a short distance from Earl's Court.
Even though I could actually arrange several more interviews, I have never actually done an in person interview before and so thought I'd ease myself into things, figure out how best to record the interview and such...
I think i may have already have mentioned this before but this year will also be the first time that I am going as press instead of just a paying participant, meaning I can get into the press area of the expo, unfortunately I doesn't allow me to jump queues :).
This year will also be the first time that I am going for two days, up until now I've just gone on the Thursday, but I will also be going on the Saturday this time too, which even though will be really busy, should still be fun.
A few early mornings ahead of me this week then so to make sure I get close to the front of the queue and don't have to wait for ages to get in. I'm sure the sacrifice will be worth it.
